We've got a new music video! Had a lot of fun shooting the desert scenes in New Mexico during our last tour. And speaking of touring, we're kicking things off today as we head to El Paso and make our way west to California. Check out the tour dates below, we'll see ya there!
Today's the day! Our second full length album is now available and streaming all over the interwebs. Word is that NASA is even listening to it all the way from the ice wall at the edge of the world. Give it a listen and let us know what ya think!
And speaking of NASA, our science team has developed a realistic model of our reality embedded on this frisbee. Order one today and display your wokeness to all your friends (music included if you're into that sort of thing as well)
We'd love to give shout outs to Drew LeClair for making us sound beautiful and Kyle Armstrong for making the album artwork so awesome. Big thanks to our record label Paper + Plastick Records as well, it's been great working together to make this release happen. We'll be hitting the road in a few weeks again, hope to see you all soon!
So we have a new full-length album coming out soon and are excited to announce we'll be releasing it through Paper + Plastick Records! We put a lot of passion and hard work into getting this finished and can't wait to get it out to everyone. It's been great so far partnering up with Paper + Plastick and we'll have some more details coming soon.
We'll be starting our next tour a week from today! Excited to make our first trip up to Colorado, as well as returning to some familiar places to see some familiar faces (you know who you are ya crazy rapscallions).
Also, keep an eye out for some announcements regarding our next album. Perhaps maybe even a new tune? Who knows, stranger things have happened in this flat world of ours.
We managed to convince our local Public Access TV stations in the area to play some alternative programming. TJ Gruber: The Science Duder, specializes in teaching kids, and bands, about the Flat Earth Model. We find it incredibly useful for bands, and families, going on the road and touring this fantastic country.
Because of our Public Access phenomenon we were able to secure even more tour dates for educational purposes! We look forward to the time we will have on the road to bond, teach, and celebrate OUR FLAT EARTH!!!
Greetings citizens of this great planet! Coming to a town near you, Hans Gruber and the Die Hards tour THIS FLAT EARTH!
Also we are stoked and honored to be a part of THE FEST 17 this year! The lineup is looking awesome and can't wait to hang out and see all of the other amazing bands! You can catch our set which is free for both FEST attendees and the general public at:
FRIDAY OCTOBER 26 4:50 PM MOTHER’S PUB FEST 17 HAPPIEST HOUR PARTY TIME 1017 W UNIVERSITY AVE, GAINESVILLE, FL
Stop the presses! Hans Gruber and the Die Hards have a new music video! We have decided to fast forward to the part of our career where we decide to start making kid's albums. So far Disney has not given us any of that Scrooge McDuck coin, but we think our new film which critics have been calling a "delightful romp with fine production values" speaks for itself.
Also excited to announce some new tour dates- Where will you be when we come!? MAY 30 - Dallas, TX MAY 31 - Fayetteville, AR JUNE 1 - St Louis, MO JUNE 2 - Chicago, IL JUNE 3 - Madison, WI JUNE 5 - Milwaukee, WI JUNE 7 - Kansas City, MO JUNE 8 - Oklahoma City, OK JUNE 9 - Tulsa, OK
Well that's a wrap! Finished up all the recording for some new songs last night! We had a great time working with Drew Leclair (he's going to fix everything in post) and now we begin the mixing/mastering/distracting-ourselves-from-existential-angst process. We went all out with this one, adding some more horns and other exotic instruments like "cowbell" and "old-timey piano"
Hans Gruber and The Die Hards new music video is a testament to both their love of Bill Murray and taking senior citizens to the moon to go shopping. An homage to the long lost Tom Schiller film Nothing Lasts Forever, it proves that no matter how obscure the reference Hans Gruber and The Die Hards will write a song about it. So kick back. Relax. And enjoy a Lunartini because in the words of Bill Murray, "YOU'RE DARN TOOTING NOTHING LASTS FOREVER!"
